Meet Dr. Baldwin
I wasn’t always the person you see today.
As a kid, I was a dreamer. I believed I was meant for something more. But somewhere along the way, those dreams faded. By my senior year of high school, everything had unraveled. I was expelled, in legal trouble, and ultimately graduated with a 1.4 GPA—hardly a foundation for the future I once imagined.
What followed were years of searching: the military, factory work, and a string of jobs that paid the bills but never fulfilled the calling I had buried.
Then, at 29, I made a decision that changed everything—I went back to school.
It wasn’t easy. It took resilience, relentless determination, more late nights than I can count… and yes, lots and lots of coffee. But step by step, I rebuilt my life and became an elementary school teacher.
Years later, I earned my doctorate degree in education and became a college professor, author, and professional speaker. But titles aren’t what matter most to me.
What matters is this: helping others see that where you start does not determine where you can go.
Today, I share my story to reach those who feel stuck, overlooked, or counted out—reminding them that it’s never too late to rise, to dream again, and to become more than they ever believed possible.
